How much does a custom suit cost in Washington, DC?
At Tailor & Bond, custom suits start at $800, with pricing varying based on your fabric selection, suit construction, and personal customizations. Every suit includes a one-on-one consultation, precise measurements, curated fabric guidance, and our “Our Word” guarantee, ensuring alterations or a complete remake if the fit isn’t exactly right.
How long does it take to get a custom suit made?
Most made-to-measure and fully custom suits are ready within four to six weeks. We schedule a final fitting to confirm everything is right before you take delivery.​
Where is Tailor & Bond located?
​Our studio is at 1655 Fort Myer Drive, Suite 748, Arlington, VA 22209,  minutes from downtown Washington, DC, accessible via the Rosslyn Metro station on the Orange and Blue lines.
What is the difference between made-to-measure and bespoke?
Made-to-measure starts from an existing pattern adjusted to your measurements. Bespoke begins from scratch, a unique pattern built entirely for your body. Both deliver a custom fit, but bespoke offers a higher level of precision and personalization.
Do you offer custom tuxedos for DC events and weddings?
Yes. We design and build custom tuxedos at every tier, made-to-measure, fully custom, and bespoke. If you have an upcoming gala, wedding, or state-level event, we recommend booking at least six to eight weeks in advance.
What fabrics do you use for custom suits
​We source premium fabrics from top mills globally — fine wool, cashmere blends, performance stretch, linen, tropical wool, and heritage tweeds. We guide every client to the right fabric for their body type, lifestyle, and occasion.
What is Tailor & Bond's guarantee?
​Our Word: if your suit does not fit the way you want, we alter it at no charge. If alterations do not solve it, we remake it. We do not put our name on a garment we are not proud to stand behind.
